FRANKFURT BY ELLI S.

When me meet people that have visited Germany, they always say good things about Berlin and me must tell you that it will be a city that we are going to visit very soon (new project is coming up), although Germany is not a country that we greeks are much fond of - I cant imagine why, xoxo- but meeting with a fashion girl Elli Stam, we found out that we have many things to learn too for another city of Germany! Frankfurt seems to be like the second hometown to her as she works there the last 2 years as a manager virtual merchandiser for PRIMARK!!!

Elli we are reaaaady... So, take the wheel, will ya?..

Enjoy the ride guys :-))

1. WHAT IS THE BEST SEASON TO VISIT FRANKFURT?

The best season for someone to visit Frankfurt is spring time, where you have the sense that you are in whole different city! Frankfurt has many parks and landscapes and what you see is amazing when everything turns to blossom!

2. WHAT SHOULD I PUT IN MY SUITCASE?

Hmmmm, well thats a diffucult part as a typical girl but for start you should take with you from 5 to 6 basic t-shirts -depends the days of your stay- till a classic jacket because the weatehr there can be sooooo unpredictable, it changes all the time and you must be prepared about it! Also, you don't go anywhere without your comfy sneaks so as to enjoy the too long walking around the city..

3. WHAT WILL AMAZE ME IF I VISIT FRANFURT FOR THE FIRST TIME?

Skyskapers of course!!! The palse of the city is so tensed and what I like the most is that you meet people from all over the world, it feels like you are in New York or something. If you walk around the streets you hear all the languages as you see people around from different nations!

4. WHAT SIGHT I MUST DEFINITELY SEE?

PALMEN GARDEN is an amazing park with plenty of museums with flowers!. Spring time many fairs are being held and the most popular is the one of the orchid flower... The landscape there is so magical, and you can take the boat in the lake and see around the beautiful scenery all over! Its a very nice experience like you are in a fairytale and what you see you will remember forever!

Also, you must visit the house of the opera at the center of the city.

5. WHAT NO TO DO BECAUSE I AM GOING TO LOOSE TIME.

WAKE UP LATE, of course! Set up your alarm at around 8.30, enjoy your lovely breakfast and walk around the city to see as many as you can!

6. WHAT SHOPS TO VISIT OR SHOPPING STREET?

GOETHESTRASSE str is a very well known street with all the exquisite brands in the world and few blocks more, you see the ZEIL str where you find ZARA, PRINMARK, URBAN OUTFITTERS, MANGO, and many more! During weekends you see the flohmark, where you can find lots of vintage items at very special prices!

7. WHERE IS BEST TO STAY?

The best location to stay to is the center of the city where you find lots of hotels in various prices and for every taste!

8. WHERE IS BEST TO DINE?

If you like to taste the best shnitzel you ever tasted go to GALERIA KAUFHOF at the 7th floor where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city as well!
In Thai express εyou must chicken broth spicy sweet and sour lemongrass broth with rice!! I can hardly choose myself, they are both yummy dishes..

9. WHAT TO BRING BACK HOME FROM FANKFURT?

Milka chocolates of course! Is the first thing to buy for gifts to my firends and they actually love it but you can buy a souvenir mug too from the plenty of the touristic shops that around the city's streets

10. HOW CAN I SURVIVE IN THIS CITY WITHOUT DRIVING??

If you live at the center of the city then you DONT need it anyways! Everything is around the city so walking is the best way to enjoy seeing most of the things, form the other hand if you live some miles away from downtown then sbahn is an easy way of transportation, as with an all day card at the price of 6 euros you can go everywhere and problem is solved!

Avoid taxis...
